CHRIS MASCARA ON THE FOOD NETWORK

Chris and Deb Mascara of eclectic hard-rockers MASCARA discovered that the quickest path to a television guest spot could be moving to Medford. They just "happened" to be at their favorite neighborhood haunt, Medford's Danish Pastry House, when the Food Network filmed The Secret Life of ... Pastries , which next airs November 27 at 6 pm. The band also have a new song, "Frostbite," available at www.mascaramusic.com. Described by Chris as "Queen goes to an old-timy horror flick," it's a sneak peek from a new self-produced five-song EP, Spell , recorded with Hendrik Gideonse at Indecent Music.
